Window clings are made of a transparent vinyl that becomes opaque when printed on. It also contains no adhesives, allowing you to easily remove it without leaving any reside behind.

How are clings different than decals?

Both are made from vinyl but decals use adhesives to stick to surfaces while window clings do not. Clings act as suction cups to your window or smooth surface. Because they do not use adhesives, clings are better for short term use, such as promoting current sales or events. Decals are likely a better fit if you plan on leaving it up for a longer period of time.

How do I install my window cling?

Window clings should be applied to clean, dry interior window or similar non-porous surface, such as a mirror or acrylic surface. Simply peel away the lining and spray both the cling and window with water before placing the cling on the window. Use a squeegee to smooth the cling out, starting in the middle and working your way to the edges.

Where can I use my cling?

Window clings can be used on many smooth, nonporous surfaces including windows and mirrors. It’s highly suggested you use your cling indoors to make it last longer. We are able to print on either side of your cling so that you can use it on an interior window while still displaying it for those who pass by your storefront.

Can I use my window cling on a car or truck?

Window clings should not be placed on the exterior of a vehicle but may be used on interior windows.

Should I clean my window cling?

To prolong the life of your window cling, use soapy water and a damp cloth to gently wipe the back of it to remove any buildup. Be sure to clean off any excess soap with a damp cloth.

Can I reuse my window cling?

If you plan on reusing your window cling, be sure to save the lining it originally came with. When removing your cling, place it directly back on the lining and store it flat with wax paper fully covering both sides. If you didn’t save your original lining, covering both sides with wax paper will work just fine to store your window cling until its next use. Avoid folding or rolling up your cling as that may damage it.

What do I do if my window cling won’t cling anymore?

If your window cling doesn’t seem to have as much cling, try cleaning it with soapy water and rinsing it off well. You can also try rubbing your window cling against fleece to increase its clinging power. Also, be sure to use plenty of water when reinstalling it later.

Window decals should be installed on clean window surfaces. For best results, we recommend applying them to interior windows, though they’ll also stick to covered exterior windows as well.

How do I install a perforated window decal?

Depending on the size of your decal, you may need more than one person to install it. Simply peel and stick it to your window, taking care to smooth out any ripples and line it up with your window frame as needed. We recommend using a squeegee to smooth out any ripples during the installation process.

How do I clean my decal?

To clean your decal, use a soft damp cloth to gently wipe it down. Do not saturate, scrub, or use power washers on your decal to avoid damaging it.

How do I remove my decal?

Your decal will simply peel away from your window. For decals that have been in place longer, you may need to heat up any stubborn areas to ease the removal process. Any residue that may be left behind from your decal can be cleaned off with a common window cleaner and rag.

Can I reuse my decal?

Decals are meant for one time use only. During the application process, you will be able to make slight repositions as necessary but after the decal is installed and smoothed, it will no longer have the adhesive qualities required to remove and reinstall it successfully.

How durable is your product? Will the colors fade?

We use only premium quality materials in our Canvas Gallery Wraps. Our canvas, ink, and coatings are formulated to work together to provide the highest quality, longest lasting product available. We have our own in-house UV test chamber and we continually test our materials to ensure that color will stand the test of time and last as long or longer than any other canvas prints available.

What is the grade and weight of your canvas?

We print on a premium artist-grade poly-cotton blend canvas. We do not use Optical Brightening Agents (OBAs). Our canvas weight is 360 GSM.

Are there any tools required to apply my Coloring Wallpaper?

Our wallpaper is simple to install and doesn’t require any tools. After prepping your walls, simply peel and stick your wallpaper to the wall, making sure to smooth out any wrinkles or air bubbles as you go. Also be sure to line up your panels as you apply them to ensure the finished wall looks incredible!

What type of surface does Coloring Wallpaper work best on?

Your wallpaper will look and adhere best when applied to clean, smooth, and dry indoor walls. If you’ve recently painted your wall, we recommend waiting at least 30 days before applying wallpaper to allow the paint time to fully settle. Our wallpaper can also be applied to other smooth surfaces including glass, metal, and sanded wood without lacquer as long as they are in temperature-controlled environments. We do not recommend displaying your wallpaper on textured walls, unpainted drywall, brick, cinder block, porous or textured paneling, or in non temperature controlled environments. Please be aware that CG Sign Lab is not responsible for any damage that occurs from applying or removing wallpaper, including any residue left behind or paint chipping.

Can I use my Coloring Wallpaper more than once?

While removable wallpaper can be relocated, please be aware that it may lose some of its adhesiveness when taken down. To relocate your wallpaper, save the paper backing it arrives on and apply it back to the shiny side of the paper. When you’re ready to reapply it in a new space, simply unpeel it and smooth it over your wall. Please be aware that CG Sign Lab is not responsible for any damage that occurs from applying or removing wallpaper, including any residue left behind or paint chipping.

How long will my Coloring Wallpaper last?

How long your wallpaper lasts depends on the surface it’s installed on and the environment it’s in, so its lifetime varies on a case by case basis. Our wallpaper is intended to be a temporary solution for your décor needs but if it is installed properly and left unexposed to elements, such as water or humidity in a kitchen or bathroom, it can last for several years.

How do I clean my Coloring Wallpaper?

We recommend dusting your wallpaper or spot cleaning with a dry cloth as necessary. Scrubbing or using water on your wallpaper will create blemishes or tears in the fabric and is not recommended. CG Sign Lab is not responsible for any damages due from cleaning wallpaper.

What kind of marker should I use for Coloring Wallpaper?

We highly recommend using BIC Mark-It Permanent Markers in a Fine Point tip. These markers are included with your purchase and almost anywhere office or school supplies are sold. If you decide to use a different type of marker, be sure to test it on an inconspicuous area first. *We are not responsible for any damaged caused by coloring outside of the Coloring Wallpaper panel. **Please note that markers might ship separately, and thus arrive on separate dates.

Our Leather Gallery Wraps are produced on premium quality European Bonded Leather from Valencia, Spain. The substrate is comprised of cowhide fibers bonded together by natural latex from Hevea trees and will be free of any natural defects.

If your Leather Gallery Wrap gathers any dust, you can wipe it off gently with a clean, dry cloth.

My Leather Wrap has a small scratch or blemish. What should I do?

To conceal a small scratch or blemish, we suggest using quick-dry pigment ink based markers. We recommend Copic Markers, available at art specialty stores.

How are Leather Gallery Wraps Constructed? Do they come ready to hang?

With a similar construction to our Canvas Gallery Wraps, Leather Gallery Wraps are built with a solid face to support the leather and keep it from warping or loosening. Leather Wraps also come with pre-installed sawtooth hanging hardware and are mounted on a solid black backing.
